 Connie Huft
Connie graduated from the Montana State University Farrier program. Prior to her becoming a farrier, she was an RN, ER and Cardiac Nurse, with advanced assessment skills. Her experience in nursing spills over into her farrier work, where she often utilizes her knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology and functional bio mechanics of horses.

Connie has shown, rodeoed, trained and workd on the race track. She has a wide spectrum of experience with backyard horses and performance stock. She takes every horse as an individual, assessing what and how much the horse is being used, what for, what terrain the horse is expected to cover, and for how long. Along with this, Connie assesses the horses A & P and biofunctional mechanics to try to "optimize" the horses natural ability, structure, performance and soundness within the realm and scope of her field.

Connie offers 9 years of experience working on everything from mini's to draft horses. She works well in collaboration with other areas of symbiotic specialties, such as: vets, chiropractors, massage therpy and holistic as well as traditional methods of treatment. Connie has a solid track record with helping foundered and navicular horses, as well as other lameness issues, and preventatieve and pallative care. She encourages owner participation and is epsecially inclined to horse owner education.
